DON'T WAIT IDLE

"I cannot do everything but I still can do something and because I cannot do everything I will not refuse to do the something I can do" - Edward Hail.

The world is full with youths who feel incapacitated by the things they do not have. they hereby, subscribe to being idle in an attempt to wait for the perfect time and resources needed to launch into their future. Teddy Roosevelt advised; "Do what you can, with what you have, where you are". To wait for what you do not have is a waste of your precious time. Begin now to do what you can do to get where you desire to get to. The best time to always start is now.

Entrepreneurs who have distinguished themselves in the world are men and women who started out when they were not ready, when everything wasn't right. When everyone was complaining on the problems to be solved, they reached out to find a way to solve them. I am captivated by the thought of Hamilton Mabie; "The question for each man to settle is not what he would do if he had the means, time, influence, resources and educational advantages, but what he will do with what he has". Your strength to begin is always in the present not in the past or in the future. Have you ever thought; Will there ever be a perfect time?

Each one of us usually tend to underrate what we have, and overrate what we do not have. We are always neglecting our strengths, talents, gifts and abilities to do what we can do in a conscious effort to reach out for what we cannot do. What we do need is the creativity to begin something we can do based on our strengths today. Mark Zukerberg did same at Havard, he started out with limited resources. Perhaps, the only way to learn something thoroughly is by starting at the bottom. The truth is; many succeed because they do not have the advantages others had.

Do not spoil what you have by reaching out for what you have not; but remember that what you now have was once among the things only hoped for. Henri Amiel observed, "Almost everything comes from almost nothing". Do something! Do what you can do starting now!
